Moving makes me tired

Wow! I can’t believe how tired I am! Ever since I left my home in AZ at 2:45 in the morning I have been tired. I think it’s a mix of the altitude going from sea level to 5,000 feet and the fact that I’m starting something that’s COMPLETELY new! This whole school thing is a lot to swallow! I live in an apartment with 5 other guys that I don’t know, I have 12 credit hours, I don’t know my way around campus yet, etc… It makes my brain tired. I think once I get some friends and get into the swing of school it will be better. I’ve been lucky enough to have the past year off of school, which was really nice, but it has gotten me un-used to having to think so much about not fun stuff. That part of it is only gonna get worse. Starting next semester I have to take 15 credit hours a semester to be able to get on the “Fast Track”. That will let me go to all three of the semesters up here and get my degree faster. All in all I think it’s going to be a total blast for me up here. It’s just a hard adjustment from the cushy life I had back in AZ. Well, I’m hungry. Time for dinner!

Hey Mark, Just a little advice about getting done faster at BYUI, you can register for classes after everyone has registered, even if it's your off track. Sometimes you can talk to the instructors about being added to their class, or just go and wait until someone drops the class in the first week. You can also sign up for night classes on your off track. They have so many seats open to non-traditional students and so many for traditional students(which you follow under). Anyway, Jake was able to go year round just by signing up for classes after everyone already registered before he could get on fast track. So there is a way around it! Good luck
